the main barn and the riding arena. We are either on the trail, riding,
or by Jimmy's Barn, located a little to the right of the arena. You can
download a brochure about the park, which includes a map, by clicking
this link: http://www.parks.ca.gov/mediagallery/?page_id=626&viewtype=7
Please note that Will Rogers State Historic Park charges
$12 parking fee (cash or check only). You can buy annual day use pass
for $195, valid at all California State Parks, either at the toll booth
in the park, or at http://store.parks.ca.gov/passes.aspxTHE RIDE:
All our horses have western tack, and it is mandatory that all riders
helmets. We have helmets you can borrow for your ride.
The ride is approximately 50 minutes long, starting at the main historic
barn in the park. We ride on the the historic Inspiration Point Loop
with a stop at Inspiration Point, where you have one of the most amazing
views in LA. On clear days you can see from Mountain High, across the
Angeles basin to Catalina Island, Palos Verdes and Malibu.
Will Rogers State Historic Park is the former estate of Will Rogers.
